Rapid technological advancement creates a need for all types of computer professionals. The Computer Information Systems (CIS) program in the Division of Business provides necessary information systems knowledge and skills backed by a well-rounded understanding of business.

Students build a foundation of skills in many areas, including programming and networking, as well as in Web application design and development.

The Computer Information Systems program prepares you to enter the information systems industry. You'll gain knowledge in programming, database, systems analysis and design, operating systems and networking.

The Computer Information Systems major is no longer available to incoming freshman, but will still be open to transfer students meeting certain criteria. Contact the Office of Admissions for further details.
