Accounting minors develop interpersonal skills, analytical abilities and an understanding of business environments.

A minor in accounting at the College of Mount St. Joseph provides you with the technical skills necessary to qualify for the Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) or the Certificate in Management Accounting (C.M.A.) exam. It enhances those skills with a solid background in the liberal arts. You'll need a total of 150 hours to sit for the C.P.A. examination.

The accounting graduate is well prepared for a career in accounting, or to pursue a graduate degree. We emphasize developing interpersonal skills, fine tuning analytical abilities and increasing understanding of ethics in the business environment.

Cooperative education plays an important part in preparing you for a successful business career.
