TEAM-AYA (Adolescent to Young Adult Education) is a 15-month master’s degree and accelerated program for students who want to be a junior high or high school math or science teacher.

Successful graduates earn the Master of Arts degree. They also obtain Ohio alternative resident educator licensure in Adolescent to Young Adult Education, with a concentration in math or science, grades 7-12. If you have an undergraduate degree in math or science, or extensive work experience in a directly-related field (i.e. engineering), you may qualify to be hired as a teacher while earning this degree.
