The general studies major is flexible, allowing students to tailor their schedules to their individual needs and interests.

General studies is a path to a college degree that's especially well-suited to many adult and transfer students.

In general studies, you'll have the opportunity to think critically and communicate effectively about issues surrounding global citizenship, ethics, and cultural diversity. Students can choose to pursue greater breadth, more depth, or a combination of both in completing either associate or bachelor’s degrees in general studies.

We offer a major in general studies and a minor in philosophy.
